Servers - Why have one?
The answer to this is quite simply that it is the best way to grow with your business, giving least hassel! If you have a good quality server, configured for file sharing and application use, then it will run for years without great attention or re-configuring. If you are currently using file sharing and its working, its probably because there are few people using it, or its wide open in terms of security!
No-more having to have Bob's PC running before you can print, or Emily's pc running in order to work on the shared calendar spreadsheet. With everything in a central place access is easy, and security can be applied to those more sensitive applications like the Accounts, for example.
